Crankbrothers Synthesis XCT Carbon Rim

This rim is a rocket on the trail. It cut a chunk of weight off my bike and makes the front end feel precise. I've been hitting drops and jumps and it's held up flawlessly. The quality is excellent.

I couldn't believe the price when I saw it. I built it up on some lightweight hubs and now my bike is a feather. It rides incredibly smooth and has great traction. Absolutely thrilled.

The rim performs great: light, stiff, and rolls fast. But the paint has a few small chips from the factory. Not a structural issue, but if you're picky about cosmetics, you might be disappointed. Still, for the price, I can't complain.

I've been wanting to try carbon rims for ages, and this one was affordable. I wahoo, it's amazing. The ride feel is totally different - less buzz, more traction. My bike feels way more playful. Highly recommend.

This rim is incredible. It saved almost a pound off my wheel setup. The compliance is great for cornering, and it feels stable at speed. I've already gone through a season of racing and it's still true. Best upgrade I've made.

The rim is high-quality and lightweight, but one spoke hole seemed slightly misaligned when I was building the wheel. It was fine after some persuasion, but it was a minor hassle. Apart from that, it's a great rim.

I'm a wheel builder and I've seen many carbon rims. This one is excellently made. The bead hook is sturdy, the holes are clean, and the carbon layup looks flawless. It trued up easily. A top-tier product at an unbeatable price.

Carbon rims are supposed to be more compliant, but I didn't feel a huge difference compared to my alloy rim. It is lighter, though. Maybe I need to adjust tire pressure, but so far I'm not blown away. Still, it's a decent rim.

Bashed this rim through a rocky section and it didn't even flex. I was worried about carbon breaking, but this thing is tough. It also looks sick on my bike. Great buy.

The rim is great, but the graphics look a bit cheap. They are like stickers rather than painted. Irksome, but not a deal-breaker. Performance is superb and the weight is excellent.
