Crankbrothers Mallet DH Clip-In Pedals

These pedals are massive and give you so much support. The pins are aggressive and hold your shoes firmly. Clipping in is easy from any side. I've been riding them hard at the bike park and they're showing no wear. Excellent pedals.

The pedal grip is outstanding, but I've smacked my shin on them a couple times and it's painful. That's a risk you take with pinned pedals. Performance is great though. Just be careful.

I've used these in mud, dust, and rain, and they always clip in smoothly. The platform supports my feet well and I feel confident on descents. The price is right. Highly recommend.

Switched from a smaller pedal and the difference is huge. My feet are planted, and I can corner much better. The 4-sided entry makes clipping in easy even in a panic. Great pedals.

After a few months, they developed a squeak that I can't get rid of. I've tried re-greasing, but it's still there. The performance is fine otherwise, but the noise is annoying. Not what I expected from Crankbrothers.

They are built tough, but they're heavy. I feel the extra weight on long climbs. But for downhill, it's not an issue. The grip is stellar and the clip-in is reliable. Good pedals for the price.

The pedal itself seems fine, but a pin snapped off on the first day. That's a bit weak. I've had other pedals that lasted longer. Hopefully it's just a fluke, but I'm not thrilled.
